The minute we conceived of this site we thought, "Here come the lawsuits!". Despite landmark court rulings in the U.S., Canada, and abroad that protect satire and parody as elements of free speech, some corporate yahoo (no, not Yahoo!TM...like we need another company upset with us) decides that this whole free speech thing is an inconvenience to them, and launches a lawsuit. It's not like we are saying anything negative about Microsoft. Well, ok we are, but it's in the context of the court ruling and in the satirical tone of the site.

Of course, we aren't saying anything bad about Hasbro, Inc. or their Monopoly game. Quite the opposite...we all love the game...it just happens to be a natural setting for this parody. Anyway, we figured that if we are going to be receiving "Cease and Desist" orders, hate mail from employees of the various "offended" corporations, and the expected threats of lawsuits, we might as well make the process easy for everyone.
