Yes, you're reading this correctly. The source code for the M$-Monopoly.com web site has been released under the GNU Public License (GPL) for all to use, contribute to, and hopefully improve.

The site has been written in PHP3 and uses a MySQL database server to hold the various game pieces, property squares, etc. It's nothing fancy, but we thought releasing the code would add just that little bit of extra salt to any open wounds over at our favourite software empire. It's not every day we get to thumb our noses at them :-).

Any improvements to the code, which you would like to contribute back to M$-Monopoly.com, should be emailed to code@ms-monopoly.com as a .zip or .tar.gz file. Please include a description of what improvements/additions you have made. You will, of course, be credited if we use your code.
