Site Use

When this site was originally conceived we didn't intend to turn it into a major project, but as things progressed more and more bits and pieces were added.

The property squares on the board represent companies which have either been bought by Microsoft or which Microsoft has invested in. Clicking on these squares will reveal a "card" showing the rent if you were to land on this square.

Clicking on a Public Purse square will reveal a "card" showing the types of dasterdly deeds a software monopolist might be tempted to do to thwart the competition and make more money.

Clicking on a Chance square will reveal a "card" showing what might happen should your or your company decide to 'play with firel', so to speak ;-).

After you have exhausted all the property, chance, and public purse squares reload the page. The property squares are chosen at random from a database so, depending on the number of property squares that have been contributed, you will likely have some new ones to explore.
